Hike Distance:  Approximately 2.5-3 miles

Location: In Antelope on Elverta Road

Description: This is a Sacramento County Regional park.  The flat trail loops around 300 acres of  publically owned ranches. There are stables, pastures with animal stock and a fishing pond.  A creek runs through the property.  The setting is very peaceful.

Travel Time/Distance:  35-40 minutes driving time.  40 miles round trip.  Rider to pay $ 6.00 to driver.

Special Notes:

Facilities Available:  There are bathroom facilities where we will park  near the pond and bathrooms along the way.   

There is a parking fee for $5.00 but only required on weekends.

Preparation for Hike; Wear hiking boots due to the possible mud and bring plenty of water.

Risks: Walking on uneven surfaces with loose gravel and rocks.  Also, horse droppings.

Meeting Time: 9: 00AM - Depart 9:15AM.  Expect to return to Lincoln Hills by 12:00.
