GETAWAYS
Getaways
are special 2-4 night trips to locations which are typically beyond the
range of a day trip. Getaways are exclusively for Lincoln Hills Hiking
Group members. To insure that a hiker is fully capable and prepared to
participate in the described getaway it is strongly recommended that
they attend at least 3 hikes (1 easy and 2 moderate) prior to going on
a getaway. It is important that a hiker have a level of fitness that
would allow them to keep up with the average hiking pace and not be a
liability to the group or to themselves. Safety of an individual hiker
as well as the group is our first priority and responsibility.
Non-hiking partners may attend with permission from the Getaway leader
subject to space availability. These non-members will be required to
sign the Lincoln Hills Association Club Event Release Form - Form

The
bench has been placed in
Hidden Falls Regional Park. The location Is 200 or so yards down the
Great Egret Trail off the South Legacy trail, overlooking Coon
Creek. Approx. 3 miles from the Parking lot.
