Rockville Hills Regional Park - Photos by David and Monique Wood
The
beauty of this hike was a surprise for all - including the hike leader.
We hope that this images will convey the joy of this hike to
those that missed the experience. The day, forecast for rain and
overcast, was sunny and wonderful.

The group (in a bad mix on sun and shade)

Part of the trail was along this old rock wall

Much of the area was in lush oak forest.

Rolling hills and rock outcroppings

Lush meadows - profitting from our Spring rains

Part of the group, behind leader Jim Fisher, pauses on the trail

Another gorgeous vista

Since health issues kept Scott Thompson away from the hike, Sue Geisler brought hime along via photo

We had a beautiful lunch spot overlooking a lake
