ALERT - special meeting place at the
corner of
Rossi and Grand Pheasant in the SE corner of SCLH. Plenty of parking on
the S
end of Coopers Hawk Lane or Blackhawk Lane.
DIFFICULTY
- easy/moderate
HIKE DISTANCE -
about 6 miles with 2 fairly steep hills
GENERAL LOCATION - E
of Lincoln Hills
DESCRIPTION - It's a
busy time of year, but we still need some exercise
so this will be a brisk, medium- paced walk through the Catta Verdera
neighborhood. Part is on walking trails and part is on the
private, gated road.
There are panoramic, golf course and backyard views and a
crossing of Orchard
Creek. On the pre-hike, we saw deer, quail and lots of
turkeys, but who knows
after Thanksgiving?!
TRAVEL TIME and COST
- 0. We should be back to our vehicles around 10:30
so there is still plenty of time to shop or whatever.

PREPARATION for HIKE
- Comfortable walking shoes are fine, but bring water. Rain
cancels
RISKS - crossing
Twelve Bridges on foot twice and going to the wrong
meeting place (remember Rossi exit).
