HIKE DISTANCE: About two miles

GENERAL LOCATION: Downtown Lincoln

DESCRIPTION: Jean Cross, President and Creative Director of the Lincoln Art League, will be leading us on a walk of downtown Lincoln where she will discuss the colorful murals that are going up as well as pointing out historic points of interest around the downtown. Jean was a sculptor at Gladding McBean for seven years and also a creator of some of the murals we will be seeing. So be prepared to “discover the charm” about our downtown and finish by taking in lunch at one of the local restaurants!

TRAVEL DESTINATION/DISTANCE: About 3 miles - $1 contribution to driver suggested. We will park in the parking lot at 6th & F streets and meet Jean at the Lincoln Art Gallery located at 580 6th Street.

HIKE LEADER/SWEEP: Jim & Denny Fisher

FACILITIES: Bathrooms at City Hall.

PREPARATION FOR HIKE: Comfortable walking shoes, water and a hat.

RISKS: Watch for traffic when crossing city streets.
