HIKE DISTANCE: 4 - 7 miles, In-and-out, varies according to your chosen pace


ELEVATION/GAIN: 360 feet for full 7 miles


PACE: NEW “Pick your Pace.” The trailhead is near Harry Crabb Park in

Roseville. In groups of 2 or more, everyone will begin together at the park to
hike out in pairs or small groups as far and as fast as you wish for 1 hour. At the
end of the hour, everyone will turn around to go back to the park where we will
meet back up for lunch. There may be an opportunity to meet “Harry Crabb.”

TRAIL CONDITIONS: Wide paved trail shared with bikers. Signs remind
walkers to walk in the left lane facing any oncoming cyclists. The trail is mainly
level with gently rolling slopes. The trailhead is located near Harry Crabb Park in
Roseville which will serve as the starting point for each group to hike.

DESCRIPTION: The trail runs alongside the bubbling Miner’s Ravine Creek and

is surrounded by large, mature oaks and some manzanita. Vocal frogs,
woodpeckers, humming birds, egrets, and squirrels can be seen and heard.
Near one trail junction there is a grinding rock that was used by the original
inhabitants of the land. Along some upslope or downslope parts of the trail
neighborhood homes can be seen.

FACILITIES: Restrooms and picnic tables at the park.
