Total gain, with all ups and downs is 300 feet
HIKE DISTANCE:
6 miles
GENERAL LOCATION:
Roseville.
DESCRIPTION:
Start in downtown Roseville, cross over PIE bridge into Royer Park for a quick view
some classic Roseville homes, than back track and proceed 3.0 miles south along
Dry Creek on Miners Ravine Trail to a side trail leading to John G. Piches Park
where we will have snack break. We will
then proceed back to the start on the same path we came from. Paved, divided pathway along active
creek. Woodland with lots of oaks,
pines, and willows.
TRAVEL TIME/DISTANCE:
20 minutes each way. This is a $2 driver
donation. Detailed driving directions will be handed out to all drivers

SPECIAL NOTES:
FACILITIES AVAILABLE: No restrooms directly available. Those with need may
detour up to a Chevron station on North Sunrise Boulevard to use facilities,
about 2 miles from the start; however, this requires extreme caution by
crossing a busy boulevard, and must be with a few others to watch for vehicles.
PREPARATIONS FOR HIKE:
- Bring
a copy of your ID (driver's license), Health Card, and an emergency
contact name and phone number with you when you hike.
- If
you have any health issues, please consider your condition before hiking. If

- Always
bring 2 pairs of shoes, along with a plastic bag to store your muddy/dusty
hiking boots after the hike. DO NOT get your driver's car dirty by
wearing your dirty boots on the drive home.
- Bring
hiking boots, sunscreen, insect repellant, water, snack or lunch.
RISKS: Some bicycles
on trial.
WEATHER: Should be in the 50’s
during hike. Hopefully, no rain. Rain on day of hike, cancels hike.
RETURN
TIME:
Approximately 12:30 noon at OC Lodge.
