hills with marvelous old oak trees and gray pines, grassy
meadows, a canyon descent, views of the distant mountains ----
lots of openness ---- these are the pleasures you will see on this
hike. Traversing this area you will enjoy a variety of ups and downs

trailhead
PREPARATION FOR HIKE:
Hiking boots, water, lunch, and layered clothing if cold. Recommend
trekking poles, if you have them.

be muddy in some sections if heavy rain precedes the hike, but we will attempt
to avoid those areas.
